Numahara is seen briefly as a collection of stranded houses/something underground, not sitting in the path of the CoL. As with the sea-scenario mentioned above, Numahara frequently floods over. Its residents have enchantments in place to traverse the waterways with ease, although there are in fact a few patches free from flooding.
Traveling farther south, we hit Swamp Bottom. In the movie, Chihiro passes a number of places before her stop, so I expanded on that with the idea that Swamp Bottom as a whole is a much larger place than alluded to– the train just happens to stop at the ‘midpoint’ of the area. The swamps are pretty fragmented here in a fashion much less linear than displayed, but you get the general idea of how it is laid out.
As for the rest? It will be a little hush hush until I’ve planning things out with the rest of the staff. From here on out though, I definitely want to push the focus on the whole Reikei!
This map is a little more detailed-- or messy, more like. I made this a few weeks ago so I could jot down some notes– it’s rough, but it explains the general layout of the lands explored in FSPK! “The Sugar Plum Kingdom” is less of a singular place as it is the collection of the Porcelain, Mause, and Sweets kingdoms. The Land of Sweets is separate from the mainland, which makes its isolation through the duration of the game fairly straightforward, while Porcelain & Mause are the warring pair.
There will be a number of other major locations that pop up later, but that will be explored with the map system in the game!
